Is Ordination for all believers ?

Yes, and that’s why Five Rivers Ministries exists.

Nearly 30 years ago, Senior Pastor and serial entrepreneur David Allen received a vision from the Lord:

“The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.

Why are the laborers few?

Because my precious ones are incarcerated by manmade rules and traditions. David, set the Christians free.”

Therefore, the foundational call of Five Rivers Ministries is to set Christians free by reminding them who they are in Christ–Holy Spirit-empowered miracle-workers ordained by the Lord himself as Ministers of the Gospel.

Based in Dayton, Ohio, Five Rivers Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization committed to:

Encouraging and equipping believers who are “fed up” with the dead works and lifeless traditions of religious Christianity.
Proclaiming believers’ Ordination at regularly scheduled Ordination Conferences, where Christians experience the reality of “You, 2.0” and are reminded who God has created them to be.

Helping believers discover what God has called them to do, then walk with them as they discern God’s unique path for them.

What We Believe:

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and actively governs all.

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and the New Testament are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and that they provide for mankind the infallible rules of faith and practice.

We believe in God the Father, the infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in his virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, his substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people and in his return to earth.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who comes forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Healer, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the believer with the Holy Spirit and power for service.

We believe in the universal Church, the living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head, and that all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the Royal Priesthood of all believers.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed three Ordinances to the Church: Believers’ Baptism, Believers’ Communion, and Believers’ Ordination (i.e., God’s personal and specific impartation and calling as to the operation of his giftings in the temporal life of every believer). We believe in baptism by immersion, that communion is open to all believers, and that a life of committed ministry are all hallmarks of the Royal Priesthood.

We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to earth and in the establishment of his everlasting kingdom simultaneously with his holy resurrection by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. We believe in the Bride of Christ; that is, Christ’s sacred Church, which consists of everyone who has been born again. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the everlasting blessing of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the unredeemed.
